SUMMARY
Meeting Point Health is a boutique medical practice located in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia, specializing in Regenerative Orthopedic Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Longevity Medicine. We want our patients and staff to feel fully integrated in their mind and body so that their soul and spirit is free to live out their full created human potential and higher purpose.
Our patients enjoy access to the most advanced, evidence-based medicine available, led by Dr. Stephen Matta, DO, MBA, CAQSM, and Mary Anne Matta, MS, MA, LAC. Both Dr. Matta and Mary Anne take an East-meets-West approach, and apply their Christian faith to the practice of medicine by praying with and for their patients and staff.
Our rapidly growing clinic in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia is welcoming the right person who is excited to grow with us. The right candidate is a like-minded individual who enjoys learning, and has a strong commitment towards holistic medicine. Our team is in need of a Registered Nurse to help with each of our busy departments in Regenerative and Functional Medicine.

WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS
- Hands-on Clinical Skills – Our RNs are cross-trained to perform IV infusion therapy and to assist in the procedure room during ultrasound-guided orthopedic injections. Clinical duties are as follows:
Regenerative Orthopedics:
- Triage patient before procedure
- Prepare ultrasound, chart, and surgical tray using sterile procedures
- Assist with preparation of regenerative injectables (vitamins, dextrose, peptides, stem cell, and PRP) for ultrasound guided joint injections and nerve hydrodissection.
- Perform phlebotomy for PRP procedures
- Pre-op and post-op support to patients
- Ensure the doctor’s orders involving medication, supplements, peptides, hormone replacement, and nutrition plan is carried out.
- Act as medical scribe during procedures. Notes are always available to the patient the same day electronically and must be thorough and patient-friendly. Format and spell check notes by end of day and send to provider for completion and sign off
Infusion Suite:
- Assist with morning prep of formulas
- Discuss rationales behind our infusion treatments with patients before treatment
- Triage and chart procedures
- Ensure informed consent for new procedures is given for each treatment
- Administer IV Ozone as well as nutritional infusions as ordered by the physician
- Making the Magic Happen – manage the patient experience by ensuring every Meeting Point Health patient receives an extraordinary customer service experience through all communication in-person, phone, email and text. Our clinic is cash-based and does not accept insurance. The patient experience must be unlike every other medical clinic.
- Liaison – act as liaison between practitioners, staff and patients. This involves a deep and thorough knowledge of each patient and where they are in the treatment process.
- Education and Sales – our procedures and treatments require educating patients on their options for regenerative procedures and treatments, obtaining informed consent should the patient decide to move forward, and selling treatment packages
- Communication – respond to all patient questions, concerns and requests, conferring with the provider where necessary
- Efficiency – Be looking for ways in which to improve the clinic’s efficiency and time so that they can perform consultations and procedures while follow up administrative tasks and education and are being handled
- Flexibility – Be flexible with late hours or off clinical hours when necessary for specific patients, trainings, or team alignment meetings. We don’t leave the office until the last patient has left and checked out.
- Health Coaching – support the patient in lifestyle changes using motivational interviewing. The success of our treatments, especially regenerative joint injection, relies on reducing the overall inflammatory burden. A patient with poor nutrition and sleep habits can negate the best procedure
- Check in with patients to ensure that their lifestyle is supporting the regenerative healing process.
- Educate on nutrition, supplementation, movement, sleep and stress management
- Keep detailed, organized tools for tracking patient progress. This requires a hyper focus on people and processes simultaneously, with a knack for using EMR tools (we use CERBO)
- Follow up with patients during their protocol by responding to patient portal messages directed to the provider. Ensure that if they are at the end of their protocol or coming up to the end that you discuss with the doctor and patient what the follow-up plan and protocol is. Always check and see if the patient has an upcoming visit.
