Infrared Sauna in Philadelphia

Infrared Saunas offer the same health benefits of traditional saunas but can operate at a lower temperature. By heating up your core body temperature without heating up the air around you, these saunas promote fast healing, detoxification, and can help skin conditions like eczema and acne.

Infrared light from our infrared saunas penetrates at least one-third of an inch into the skin, heating up your body from the inside out. This radiant heat promotes circulation, detoxification, and is vital to the many processes our bodies are creating every second of every day.

The benefits of these saunas include but are not limited to:

Research on Infrared Sauna

While research on these saunas is still young, there are plenty of noticeable benefits to mine from hard data available.

Some studies show that these saunas lower blood pressure and improve congestive heart failure symptoms. Asthma sufferers have seen a reduction in asthma attacks. Regular use has also shown pain management benefits in multiple studies.

What to Expect Before Your Appointment

We’ll dive into the root of your conditions and determine the most effective treatments. At the end of your visit, you’ll receive a treatment plan detailing your upcoming procedure(s).

FAQs about Infrared Sauna

An infrared sauna differs from a traditional sauna by warming your body directly instead of heating the air around you. While traditional saunas operate at high temperatures, usually between 150 degrees and 180 degrees, infrared saunas operate between 120 degrees and 140 degrees.

It’s this differentiation that allows for most of the heat (approximately 80%) to go directly into your body instead of heating the air around you, which helps promote greater health benefits.

Our Clearlight Infrared Sauna has the absolute lowest EMF ratings of any sauna on the market. In fact, the infrared panels inside of our saunas emit less than 10% of the EMF radiation that a standard broadcast FM radio station emits.

You’ll normally burn one-and-a-half times more calories in a sauna then you would outside of it. So, if you usually burn 100 calories sitting for an hour, you’ll burn 150 inside of an infrared sauna.
