Shannon Carroll

Shannon Carroll BSN, RN a nurse and a health coach here at Meeting Point Health. Her primary nursing experience is in emergency medicine, helping those whose chronic health conditions had become so desperate that they needed life-saving care. She felt that there was much more that our healthcare system could be doing for its population – and she was right! 

Now she is engaged in our patients’ care daily, administering unique and evidence based IV nutrition and IV medicine formulas to launch our patients into healing. She helps to manage their care, facilitating communication between patient and provider, with communication and safety as a top priority. She is invested in positive patient outcomes. 

Shannon came to Meeting Point Health first as a patient, so she has first hand experience with a functional medicine journey. Her personal experience with the challenge of making diet and lifestyle changes without enough support is what inspired her to study health coaching and functional medicine at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, associated with the Institute for Functional Medicine. She has become an expert in functional medicine, positive psychology, and behavior change, and uses her education and her experience to facilitate and guide patients along their journey to sustainable health changes. 

Shannon has a zest for life, with consistent travel all over the world and the country, skiing in Colorado and Vermont, going out dancing with her fiance and friends and cooking… lots and lots of cooking. She can’t wait to work with you!
