EAst meets west medicine with MARY ANNE MATTA

Mary Anne Matta, MS, MA, LAC, is a one-of-kind Functional Medicine provider, serving Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area residents at Meeting Point. She practices a unique and innovative East-meets-West style of Functional Medicine in which she merges Eastern Medicine (which is the oldest form of Functional Medicine) with a modern biochemical approach. Her specialty lies in finding the root cause beyond diet alone. No stone is left unturned in her evaluations.

Mary Anne is an expert diagnostician and clinician of the internal body. Every chronic condition that walks into her office is a challenge met with curiosity, wisdom, and compassion. Having formerly worked as a statistician and researcher for medical schools and hospital systems, Mary Anne approaches each of her treatment protocols with a highly educated, evidence-informed approach. She is also certified in Peptide Therapy by both SSRP (Seeds Scientific Research and Performance Institute) and A4M (American Acadmey of Anti-Aging Medicine).

Her medicine bag is packed with the most dynamic holistic tools available including ozone therapy, bioelectric medicine, IV nutrient therapy, cupping, regenerative injections, herbal and nutritional prescriptions, and acupuncture. As your personal provider, she will look not only at your presenting symptoms but what makes you unique – body structure, personality, physiology, past trauma, stagnant emotions,  chronic infection and toxicity, and environment. She will get to the root dysfunction and slowly restructure and reorganize the imbalances with every tool that she has to offer. She will be your champion, guide, and friend as you rewrite your story.

When looking for a provider, you need someone with as much life experience as formal education. Mary Anne has spent several years in teaching and research when she became a stay-at-home mother of two children so she understands the wiles and joys of motherhood and family life, and what it is like to press on while wearing several hats.

She has also had an adventurous life traveling all over the world learning languages, doing missions, and teaching in Ghana, Egypt, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Morocco, Guatemala, South Korea, Turkey, Greece, Italy, France, England, Ireland, and all over the beautiful 50 states of America.

OUR PATIENTS ARE HAPPY & HEALTHY

we’re here to all your questions

We hope to answer some of your questions about wellness IV drips.

Wellness IV drips are intravenous infusions of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients delivered directly into the bloodstream. This allows for faster and more efficient absorption, providing your body with a quick boost of hydration, energy, and vital nutrients.

Wellness IV drips can help boost energy, improve immune function, enhance recovery from workouts or illness, alleviate symptoms of fatigue, migraines, and even support weight loss. They can also help improve hydration and nutrient absorption.

Yes, IV therapy is generally safe when administered by trained healthcare professionals. At Meeting Point Health, our IV drips are administered by experienced practitioners who monitor your treatment to ensure safety and efficacy.

Most wellness IV drip sessions take about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the type of drip and your body’s absorption rate.

The frequency of IV therapy depends on your individual health needs and goals. Some people benefit from weekly or bi-weekly treatments, while others may only need occasional boosts, such as after a workout, illness, or travel.

IV therapy can benefit a wide range of people, from athletes looking to boost recovery to individuals experiencing fatigue, dehydration, or nutrient deficiencies. It can also support people with busy, stressful lifestyles or those recovering from illness.
