Dysport - Meeting Point Health

Dysport

Dysport® is a fast-acting, natural-looking injectable treatment that softens fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing the facial muscles that cause them. With precise placement, it smooths expression lines on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes—while preserving natural movement and expression. Results appear quickly and can last for months, leaving you looking refreshed and revitalized. At Meeting Point Health, Dysport is performed with artistry and precision to enhance your features subtly and beautifully.

What Can Dysport® Treat?

Dysport® is used primarily to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and prevent new wrinkles from forming on your face. It’s particularly effective in treating wrinkles around the brow area, reducing frown lines and creating a smoother appearance.

Dysport® is FDA-approved for use in five areas around the brow line, including:

  • Between the eyebrows
  • Above the inner corner of each eyebrow
  • Just above the center of each brow
  • Lines that appear in these areas are called glabellar lines because they form due to the contraction and movement of the glabella muscles located between the eyebrows and forehead.

What Are the Benefits of Dysport®

Dysport helps by softening the features in the brow area by reducing the appearance of wrinkles. This can help create a much more youthful look and eliminate the effects of years of stress.

  • Other benefits include:
  • Nonsurgical and minimally invasive
  • Procedure takes just minutes
  • Natural-looking results
  • Noticeable results within a few days
  • Results last up to four months

Botox® vs Dysport®

Dysport® is a little more concentrated than Botox and so it lasts a little bit longer, though individual results may vary. Not only does Dysport® last longer but it has a lower incidence of inflammation- meaning less chance for muscle weakness. It also spreads out a little more when injected which can make the injection a bit more comfortable for some patients.
