Meeting Point Health is a boutique medical practice located in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia, specializing in Regenerative Orthopedics, Functional Medicine, and Aesthetics. We want our patients and staff to feel fully integrated in their mind and body so that their soul and spirit is free to live out their full created human potential and higher purpose. Our clinic is cash-based and does not accept insurance. The patient experience must be unlike every other medical clinic. Our patients enjoy access to the most advanced, evidence-based medicine available, led by Dr. Stephen Matta, DO, MBA, CAQSM, and Mary Anne Matta, MS, MA, LAC. Both Dr. Matta and Mary Anne take an East-meets-West approach, and apply their Christian faith to the practice of medicine by praying with and for their patients and staff.

Our rapidly growing clinic in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia is welcoming a right person with a hyper-focus on organization, processes, details, solutions, and relationships to join our team as a Functional Medicine Care Coordinator. This position is patient-facing and requires administration and organization of the patients with our other Patient Care Coordinators in the Functional Medicine program. WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS

Day-to-Day Office Operations – Our doctors and staff will rely on the Functional Medicine Care Coordinator to maintain efficient day-to-day operations of our clinic. Your responsibility is to manage the administrative backend of the patient experience by keeping detailed organized tools for tracking administrative duties, never letting details fall through the cracks. This requires a hyper focus on people and processes simultaneously, with a knack for using technology to be as efficient as possible.

  • Scribe all patient appointments
  • Prepare each patient’s handbook and treatment plan 
  • Communicate with all patients and their requests via patient portal, phone, and email in a timely manner
  • Communicate with all vendors such as compounding pharmacies and advanced functional labs
  • Verify the electronic chart is complete and organized at each visit – consents, supplements, medications, medical history, etc…
  • Prepare charts before all appointments, including lab reviews
  • Assist in ordering advanced labs, supplements, peptides, etc.. for functional patients
  • Track patient progress in their treatment plan and flag those who need renewed treatment plans
  • Complete all tasks as directed by the practice manager, physicians and practitioners
  • Assist at the front desk for Check-in / Check-out / Scheduling / Taking Payment / Managing Prepaid Plans / Receipts / Superbills
  • Assist team in maintaining a clean and orderly environment including turn over of exam rooms between patients

Processes and Policies – Ensure we are constantly improving, optimizing, and innovating every element of the patient experience, workflow, internal processes, policies and technology.

  • Work with our Cerbo EMR, Google Suite, Canva and Slack.
  • Audit current processes and determine the need for improvements or upgrades 
  • Ensure functional medicine handbooks are up to date 
  • Attend and take minutes at weekly alignment meetings
  • Assistant in preparing regular reports and educational materials

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Health Coaching Certification preferred but not required
  • A personal commitment in optimizing your own health and to holistic medicine. 
  • Being hyper-organized, consistent and reliable
  • Always willing to go the extra mile, having a heart of servant leadership 
  • Must be savvy and show quick expertise with new technologies, software and innovation. 
  • Excel in an environment of ongoing evolution and change.
