Do you accept insurance?
We are out-of network with most insurance plans. You may pay for services with cash, check, credit card or use your HSA/FSA accounts. Our core belief is that integrative medicine should be available for everyone, so we keep our fees fair. You will receive an detailed receipt for your insurance so that you can seek reimbursement.
How much is treatment?
Fees range in cost depending on your protocol. Expect single treatments beginning at $120, and treatment packages beginning at $900.
What is involved in an initial consult?
On your first visit, you will spend approximately 60-90 minutes with your provider doing evaluation and assessment. Expect a deep dive into the nature of your imbalance. We leave no stone unturned. At the end of the visit, you will receive a treatment plan with recommended treatments.
Functional and Regenerative Medicine at Meeting Point Health is a boutique-style medicine that focuses on individualized precision care. Expect a reatment protocol for healing that includes nutrition, prescribed herbs and supplementation, as well as testing. At Meeting Point Health, we also do hands-on evidence-based treatments and procedures like osteopathy, acupuncture, ozone therapy, IV nutrient therapy, and regenerative injection therapy.
We understand that sometimes life is busy and circumstances arise. Life is life. However, when you schedule an appointment, you are reserving 30-60 minutes of the providers time just for you. In the event of no shows or cancellations within 24 hours, you will be responsible for the full cost of the visit which is charged to the card on file.. If you are late or no show consistently, we may need to refer you out to another provider who might be able to serve you better.
If you are a medical student or resident looking to shadow, please know that we have a fairly rigorous vetting process to ensure that those who come into our sacred space have a serious interest in becoming integrative medicine providers..
If your organization would like to employ Meeting Point as part of your corporate wellness program, feel free to contact us. Please note we are available Fridays for onsite programming, which can include education on immunity, nutrition, stress management, meditation, posture and desk ergonomics. We can also provide treatment such as osteopathic manipulation and acupuncture.
Do you do steroid injections?
We do not do steroid injections. Period.
Our injection treatments are regenerative, meaning that we aim to REGROW your tissue. Our aim is to reset an inflammatory process that has gone rogue. Remember that our bodies use inflammation to clean up damaged tissue and heal.
How many injections will I need?
A typical treatment involves multiple injections and a course of 1-6 injections.
Are there any side effects with injections?
As with all medical procedures, one should be aware of any potential side effects and risks, though rare, which include bruising, weakness, numbness, allergic reaction, pain, infection, headache, dizziness, and nausea. Also remember that while Regenerative Medicine uses cutting-edge evidence-based injections, it takes the FDA years to approve certain modalities and even longer for insurance to cover it. If you are seeking our treatments, you understand the experimental nature of these regenerative medicine injection techniques.
Does acupuncture hurt?
The pain you are currently in is exponentially more agonizing than the hair-thin dry needles we use. It is not a hypodermic needle used in a doctor’s office for vaccinations or drawing blood. The needles we use are very fine, about the width of a single strand of hair. In fact, you can fit almost 20 acupuncture needles inside the shaft of your typical hypodermic needle! Most patients feel a tingle when the needle is inserted into the fascia or a heavy sensation if inserted into muscle tissue. Acupuncture is the most cost-effective drug-free natural modality for any kind of pain or dysfunction.
How many acupuncture treatments will I need?
Expect to come in for 5-10 visits. Some conditions require much more therapy depending on your situation. If you are traveling from far away, we can create a protocol around your stay.
Can you be my primary care physician?
We are integrative medicine specialists. Our services are most helpful when you are looking to step up your wellness game with modern evidence-based holistic approaches. We find it is best for our patients to keep their primary care physician for annual physicals, yearly screenings, vaccines, and coordination of care. For pretty much everything else, we are happy and well equipped to help when you are injured, sick, or looking for optimal performance.
